The children's musical is a Qatari adaptation of the traditional French fairytale "La Belle et la Bête" as published in 1756 by Jeanne-Marie Le Prince de Beaumont. It celebrates moral values such as modesty, generosity and genuine love in a world of magic and imagination. The cast is made up of renowned and upcoming talent from Qatar and other Gulf countries, starring the famous actress and singer Asil Omran, the famous Kuwaiti actress and singer Fowz Al-Shatti and the emerging Qatari Artist Asrar Mohammed. Directed by Abdulla Al-Suwaidi, an entire soundtrack has been composed and the songs were especially written for this adaptation by the director.

The musical will be on show starting the first day of Eid Al-Fitr at Katara Drama Theatre.
