Katara DFI Cinema continues in October with ‘The Kid with a Bike’, Winner of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival Grand Jury Prize. ‘The Kid With a Bike’ is the story of a troubled 11 year-old boy obsessively searching for his bicycle after his father abandons him. In a random act of kindness, the town hairdresser takes him under her wing. The film is directed by the acclaimed Dardenne brothers who have won more than 30 international awards and received over 20 nominations during their lifetime.
