Transfer and Indigenization of Technology in the Islamic World

Qatar Foundation's Faculty of Islamic Studies is hosting a conference called "Transfer and Indigenization of Technology in the Islamic World" on November 22 and 23 at the Sharq Village and Spa hotel.

The conference will be centered around five themes:

The importance of technology transfer among Islamic nations
Capabilities required for the transfer and indigenization of technology
Challenges facing the transfer of technology
Means of technology transfer
Examples of technology transfer and indigenization.

Simultaneous translation will be available. The conference runs from 9 am to 3 pm in the Al Dasha 1 Ballroom.
